i can't insert date to mysql

I wanna insert date() to the mysql
the datatype of attribute is "datetime"
it isn't sussceful
the log tell me:
@E VariantChangeType : COM Error 0x80020005(Type mismatch. ) : error in StringToVariant

how can i solve this problem
